Review of: The Wind in My Hair

My Fight for Freedom in Modern Iran

By Masih Alinejad

If you know nothing of the life of women in Muslin countries, you should read this book.
If you think you know about the the life of women in Muslin countries, you should read this book.

Masih does a wonderful job of telling her story, from her roots, to her family, to her work, and her advocacy, she is a true story teller. In her self described works “she wants to say her nonsense” but there is love, logic, and positive intentions for all behind it. She will show you how little actions can speak volumes and each stand of self respect builds upon itself for a better world.

I pray that one day all people will be allowed to feel the wind in their hair.

Original Goodreads Review

(The long reading period had nothing to do with the book, but my need to return it to the library and wait for another audio book to be available. It was in high demand, and rightfully so!)
